Wake Dems north star is that one day all Wake County residents and all North Carolinians have a fair shot at a good life, regardless of their background, where they came from, what they’re worth, or who they love. When we apply patience, good data, best practices, careful use of resources, and teamwork to our strategies, all while keeping our north star at the center of our “why”, we find success.

Success only happens over time, requires tending, and isn’t a license to stop seeking improvement. We should, however, take a moment to see what our hard, disciplined work has wrought over the last 20 months and then return to our journey toward our north star.
