Steven Hill, Secretary
The Secretary is responsible for maintaining records of the county executive committee and issuing meeting notices.
From Steven:
I am a lifelong Democrat, thanks to the values instilled within me by my parents. One of the greatest lessons I learned from them is that being a Democrat was a way of life, not just a political party.
I am a long time grassroots activist at the precinct, county, and state levels. Served as:
- Precinct Chair 2004-2009 and 2017-2019
- Precinct Vice-Chair 2003-2004
- President of the Wake Democratic Men’s Club 2007-2009
- Wake County 2nd Vice-Chair 2009-2015
- 2nd Vice-Chair of the 13th Congressional District 2015-2017
- Delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte-2012
- Delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia-2016
- Volunteer with campaigns John Kerry and Barack Obama as well as Congressman Bob Etheridge for the 2nd Congressional District.
